The Kelford Cams range of camshafts for Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC engines are renowned worldwide for their superior results. This range is for the first generation of the DOHC 4G63T from the VR4 Galant through to the Evolution 3. All of the camshafts in this range are ground on our Toyoda CNC masterless cam grinder to consistently deliver the highest quality product.

Our 'TX' range of camshafts for Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC engines have the best available lobe designs featuring low seat timing and maximum valve area while retaining perfect valve control at high RPM. Every cam in the range features the same lobe design as our mega popular 272 degree camshaft which cleaned out the competition in the AMS Import Tuner back-to-back cam test.

We have developed a proven range of camshafts for this engine to suit most applications including a low lift 272 degree cam to suit stock valve springs and high lift designs for the more serious applications.

However if you can't find your perfect camshaft within our range designing custom profiles is our specialty! Simply order the custom camshaft and provide us all the details of your build. Confidential development for race teams is also available.

258/264 Degree advertised duration 10.50mm lift cams

258° cams for fast street 4G63 engines with stock turbo or turbocharger upgrade. Suits upgraded turbo sizing 48-54mm. Improved low to mid-range power and good throttle response. Suits restrictor plate rally 4G63 engines. For up to 8000rpm and 25psi boost Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS63.

264/268 Degree advertised duration 11.00/10.50mm lift high performance cams

EVO 1-3/VR4 Galant 268° cams for street strip and track engines in the 350-600hp range. Great with E85 and similar ethanol blend fuels. Suits 48-58mm turbo. Still maintains good throttle response improved mid-range power. For up to 8000rpm and 35psi boost Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS63-BTK.

4G36 EVO 1-3/Galant VR4 Lower Lift 272° camshaft designed to work with OEM valve springs. Rough idle note with exhaust upgrade. Increase in mid-high rpm power with upgraded turbo. Upgraded turbo size range 48-58mm compressor inducer. For high mileage engines Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS63 which uses the OEM retainer.

The ultimate Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 1-3/VR4 272° on the market. Dyno proven to be the best available to date. High lift profile design with high rpm valve train stability. Suited for 450-700hp high rpm racing 4G63 engines. Suits turbo sizing in the 54-68mm range. Great with E85 and similar ethanol blend fuels. For up to 9500rpm and 40psi boost Kelford Cams recommend valve spring KVS63-BTK.
