EVO Fuel Cell – Race-Optimized, Lightweight & CAD-Engineered

OEM EVO fuel cells are becoming increasingly difficult to source, and hanger technology has advanced dramatically. To deliver a modern, high-performance solution, we engineered a purpose-built race fuel cell that offers significant weight savings, exceptional reliability, and seamless OEM-style integration.

Developed using full 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and CAD modelling, each tank is CNC laser-cut, precision-folded, and TIG-welded in-house. The design features an OEM-style fuel-hanger flange—also CAD-designed and CNC-cut—with broad aftermarket support.

With an approximate 30-litre capacity, this fuel cell is perfect for time attack EVOs or for roll-racing builds seeking maximum weight reduction. Extensive internal baffling eliminates fuel slosh under aggressive cornering and high-G conditions.

Each tank includes an alloy hard line that integrates directly with OEM hoses for a clean, factory-style setup. It can be used as a standalone tank or paired with our optional long-range auxiliary tank. When combined, the system ties into the supplied hard pipe with provisions for an additional fill point. Both tanks fill top-down and retain the OEM breather system via the original fuel-filler location.

Track-Proven R&D

This fuel cell underwent extensive testing in the Evolution Racing Spares Time Attack EVO. For R&D purposes, we ran the vehicle with only this tank and no surge tank to evaluate real-world performance. The result: zero fuel starvation, even under demanding track conditions.
Note: We do not recommend running without a surge tank—this configuration was used strictly for testing.

An optional auxiliary fuel tank is available to increase overall fuel capacity—ideal for vehicles that are predominantly street-driven.

The system is designed so the auxiliary tank can be easily removed, allowing the setup to revert back to a single-tank configuration with minimal effort. No differential or tailshaft removal is required, making installation and removal straightforward.

This setup effectively operates as two independent fuel tanks, each designed with provisions for:

Fuel pump hangers
Internal baffling
Top-down fill points

Both tanks utilise the OEM fuel filler and breather locations for a clean, factory-style integration.

When the auxiliary tank is purchased together with the main tank, a $300 saving is automatically applied by selecting the auxiliary tank option at checkout.
